wont turn on

My partners phone was on charge, he checked his phone about 10 mins before and it was working. Then 10 mins later nothing, no lights on screen etc wont even turn on.
is there any way to fix this?

Has he tried pulling the battery out for about minute or 2 and then back in too see if it will start?

I've done some googleing and worked out its sudden death. Does anyone know how to fix this?

If it is sudden death, it will have to be sent into Samsung for repairs. Sudden Death only affects the International version which has a 2 year warranty. The US variants don't get Sudden Death as it uses a different chipset and only has a 1 year warranty. Which model S3 does your partner have?
