Woohoo! 25 cent app sale at Google Play

It's still the same things on sale as yesterday for me, I guess I have to wait a little longer.

Supposed to be for 15 minutes. That's not very long considering if you purchase a large file App that may take longer than 15 mins to DownLoad. It usually takes me longer than 15 minutes to see if I really like or need certain Apps :p

You must have slow network, I've downloaded a game over 100mb and doesn't take 15mins. Of course it takes a lot and you don't have time to check out the app before you refund expires. But if you contact Google, they will often refund within a couple of hours.

And as an FYI, I downloaded the "Tasks" app after all, and it's available on both my Nexus 7 and HTC Rezound for a quarter.

Just grabbed the sketchbook app. Pretty decent app. Was on the fence before but the $.25 price tag helped push me. I also wanted stuff to buy with the $25 credit. Glad I chose to wait!

The sale is great, I used up my $1.27 credit, I had left from the $25 gift card.

Damn, no google play books, music or movies in my country!!!! I wanted em books!!! and a few albums! Either way already got alsphat 7, paper camera, officesuitpro, fifa2012, cut ze rope.
I simply cant wait for tommorrow!!

I just got it so I could have my spreadsheets and maybe a doc or two on the tablet and be able to read them, not create them. For me, it's next to impossible to create a letter or spreadsheet or what have you on a tablet.

Agreed! I guess if I was away from home and needed to do something short, this might be okay. But not for normal usage, and certainly not on a 7" tablet! Their feature sets are also very limited compared to desktop suites.

Cool! World of Goo only 25?! Only had the demo version until now because I couldn't justify the $4 or $5 it cost at full price. Now I'll add it to my collection of games that I rarely play but love having so I can show them off on my Nexus 7.

That description of yours really limits the game choices. So no Angry Birds, Doodle Jump, Sprinkle or Grabatron? Hmm... Where's My Water or Where's My Perry, Cut The Rope, Fruit Ninja, Super Monkey Ball, Wisp, Zookeeper. I'd also recommend Granny Smith and Jetpack Joyride but Granny does jump in the air and fall a lot and the guy in Jet Pack gets hit with lasers and missiles and knocks over the people running on the ground. Some of those games will ask you to pay to unlock certain features but you can turn off in app purchases or in some cases beat the levels to unlock future ones instead of purchasing them.

Thanks dextorboot, your comments are very helpful.

I looked at the video for Granny. Nah. I'll look at the others. I bought the The Cat in the Hat for my five year old grand daughter. I bought Angry Birds for my nine year old grandson and will try it out. If it's unsuitable, I'll delete it before he ever sees it.

I"m having more fun with the apps that let you handwrite with a finger than any of the games. I know, this is boring but what can I say. lol

No productivity apps to speak of, mainly games. Does Google want this to be a device for gamers or for people looking to increase productivity?

I'm way more interested in productivity apps than anything else (I don't do movies or music or fiction books). There were productivity apps yesterday. I picked up Office Pro + for 25 cents! How's that for productivity! Today there weren't any productive apps to speak of, but we will see what tomorrow holds.

Um, it's just a sale. You want to sell a lot of something you price what will sell. They'll make more money on angry birds than all 2 of you buying a word app. Sorry, thats the truth.

got world of goo and cut the rope experiment. i already had paper camera which i got for $0.10 cents on last deal.
