Woot! Order status changed!

Mine shipped! 2...more...days w00t!

Mine's coming from Philly. They picked it up this morning. The scheduled delivery date is Wednesday, but I fully expect mine tomorrow.

I doubt that will happen - mine looks to be the same way, but I can tell something is not right.

Mine technically shipped on Sunday (Apr 25, 2010) - and by shipped I mean I was given a tracking # and there was a pick-up status.. but then today it updated to say that "Shipment information sent to FedEx".

Meaning Fedex had it in their possession on Sunday - and if it was ACTUAL 2-day service it would be here tomorrow... but verizon waited to give out shipping info until today to guarantee arrival on the 28th - and no sooner.

Idk just a theory - but I feel quite sure about it

Well mine is picked up but they apparently are trying to gather them all up in West Chester prior to sending them to there appropriate locations. Unfortunately I think they won't move it from West Chester until tomorrow and than ship it on Wednesday per the original shipping date.

I had my order status change almost 24 hours ago and still haven't received a tracking # yet.

Update

Just recieved an email from Verizon. They are shipping everything except for the MicroUSB cable which is backordered. The "Get Status" site still hasn't changed.---still says check back tomorrow.

This sucks! I ordered mine at 12:04 AM on the 19th. Order # 32738XXXX.

My Status still says to check back tomorrow.

Just broke down and ordered one. My wife will be pissed but oh well. Can't wait for it to ship. To bad its going to the wife

ATTENTION!!!
VZW uses FedEx that Requires a signature!! If no one is home they will NOT leave it automatically. Thus you will have to wait another day!

However, if you leave a made up signature release paper on the door, it works a as substitute & FedEx will leave package.

My tracking says delivery on Wed. A day earlier then store release!

I wonder if they'll really run out of the rumored 150,000 in stock? I don't think Verizon has ever sold out a phone before.

It would be interesting to see if outsells the Nexus one or even the Motorola Droid over time.

I'm not too worried since the VZW site says Pre-orders placed online before 4pm local time on 4/28 will be delivered 4/29

so I'll sit back and await FedEX's arrival on Thursday

Yeah, that's happened to a lot of people. Call CS asking for a refund. I emailed them about it and havent received a response (real shocker there).

I dont think they've shipped any of them overnight, even if it was paid for (or coupon code was used).

I called, and the woman I spoke to (a) said that I could call after I've activated the phone to get the refund (I didn't know about the coupon for free overnight before ordering, and if they're shipping it 2-day anyway, the point is moot), and (b) believed that I wouldn't be receiving the phone until the 29th regardless of whether or not I picked overnight or 2-day shipping.

Maybe I'll try e-mailing the Internet orders group instead of calling CS...

I ordered Saturday 4/24 at 7:47 am.

By the time I got home from work today, I got home and:

Order Status: "Your order has been processed. You should receive your order within 2 - 3 business days"

Order placed Saturday the 24th at 630pm. Received confirmation email with order number 327549xxx. CC not yet charged. Status still says: Your order is awaiting approval or phone availability. Please check back in a few days.

What that means is they sent the shipping information to Fed Ex, which generated a shipping label in VZW's shipping department. The package is still at the shipper until the status changes to "picked up."
