Word and Excel apps

I downloaded Microsoft Word and Excel apps. By default they are stored on the SD card. However when I restart the K1, those apps disappear. The only way to keep them loaded is to move them to internal memory, but I'm hesitant to do that because they are rather large. Does anyone know a workaround? I have Android 6.0.

I have not had this issue on my tablet. My only suggestion would be to switch your sd back to portable storage then back to internal storage again and see if that helps.

I have the same thing happen with some games also. If I move them to the sd card they disappear. World of goo, badland, cogs, several others. I have to leave them on internal, I have my ms apps on internal so have not tried them. I am using a samsung pro 64 that has a faster read and write speed than this tablet internal storage, the internal on this actually is pretty slow.

But, yes it happens to me formatted as adopted storage. I really wish in portable storage you could still move apps to the sdxc, marshmallow in adopted has been wonky for me on the tab. On my moto x pure it's fine, but I have it as portable storage as 32 internal is more than enough.

I cannot format the tablet, then format the storage as adopted and let the system automatically choose between external or internal. If I do it winds up messing up and I have to reformat. I have to format the tablet and leave the memory as portable and download the apps. I then format the sd card to adopted and move the apps I want to the sdhc card, then start downloading games and moving them to the sd card. Like I said some I cannot move as they will disappear but it's only a handfull. The point is if I let the system decide which to automatically move it messes everything up and it will not boot up, just boot loops.

I really hate this tablet, but it will be a while before I can get anything else.

The latest system update fixed the problem.
