Worse battery life after upgrading to Nougat

Tough to tell so early but so far it does look like the October update changed things for the better.

Mine is terrible. This very forum told me I was crazy. The battery life is so bad, I am contemplating not buying the Pixel.

Ok, first regular day of usage and by 3PM I'm down to 20%. No improvement then, sorry.

Well, it's been almost a month since this thread started and my Nexus 5x with Android 7 is still doing fine. No battery problems. My biggest power user is screen first and cell standby second.

I wish. OS is still at the top for me. I'm getting about 12-16 hrs of average use. If I keep my smartwatch connected and use it heavy, 8 hrs.

For me "Cell standby" is the biggest worry. Even with Wifi ON only when the screen is awake, cell standby consumed >20% e.g. when I have 20% battery left. Is this normal? Before Nougat I never saw "Cell standby" in the list (but the sum of the consumers didn't add up)
