Worthy upgrade from iPhone 5s?

I have a 5s right now and am seriously considering the Alpha, I like the smaller screen size and specs look pretty good also. I had a few questions:

Does this suffer from the Lollipop memory leak? How's the speaker loudness? Thank you in advance for your help
