I'd do it so fast your heads would spin!

4G is active in Chicago, but turning it on makes the phone (regardless of ROM) so laggy it's barely worth it. And even with "4G" up and running, doing two things at once like being on a phone call and trying to use Google Maps was impossible.

I'd gladly get rid of it. It's definitely a 4G fee no matter what people say. Sprint just couldn't call it that because they had already said earlier there would be no extra cost for 4g phone plans. For those saying to stop complaining about the $10 fee and trade in the Evo for a 3g phone, I think most of us would have gladly gone with a $10/month surcharge-free 3g phone had Sprint offered a decent phone that even came close. I think the most obvious and fair way to go about it is to just charge the $10 "premium data" fee on months that people go over a certain amount of data, even if it's the mythical 5gb cap that only applies to DATA CARDS and TETHERING, not straight phone data usage. I only use maybe 500 megs a month since I'm on wifi 90% of the time. Sprint should at least let people apply their corp. discounts to the $10 fee.

Right... I complained toSplint about this surcharge saying that I don't feelI should pay for something I don't get! They told me the same thing. I persisted in my complaint and finally got a credit on my bill that essentially wipes out the $10 surcharge.:)
