Would you switch to Note3 in 10 days if you had the option?

No Samsung for me solely based on reception issues

Bingo. All those jazzy features go out of the window for me when the phone can't keep a decent signal. Maybe that has changed with the note 3?

I picked up the G2 two day ago.

As much as I love the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, you get to a breaking point where you just had enough and want something different. Started out with the S3 and had 5 Galaxy series phones (Note, two Note 2's, S4 and the Note 8 LTE). It happened with BlackBerry and Apple.

I love that LG did something different by placing the Buttons at the back and this KnockOn feature is amazing. Having said that, if it wasn't for Nova Launcher Prime/HD Widgets I probably would have gone back to Apple (after a year off), kept my 64GB iPhone 5S and sold the G2 instead. LG's UI/Icons make Samsung's TouchWiz look like business class, it's too kindergarden for me.

No way, I feel like the g2 is the perfect size. I've also compared the 2 screens side by side and the g2 blows the note3 screen out the water.

i had the iphone 3gs for almost 4 years before i bought the g2 2 weeks ago.

i'm hoping the g2 will also last me as long, what with its beefy hardware and all. the screen size, overall phone size, and just about everything else is just right for my needs. my sister has the note II but that thing is too big for me. i almost got the moto x until i held it my hands in the store - it felt really really cheap imho. fell in love with the g2 right off the bat. it was so new, the store only had a display model. had to wait a week to get it and it was well worth the wait.

oh, i don't know what you people do that keeps the phone "on" all the time but with my usage (which is basically the same functions i used when i had the iphone 3gs), i went 55 hours on one charge... i think battery life is not an issue for me ;)
The Moto X has a soft touch, mat, non fingerprint attracting back and the G2 has the Samsungesque greasy, slimy, flimsy fingerprint magnet back yet you considered the Moto's feel cheap?

I thought the X felt cheap and disappointing as well. I went in trying to pick anything besides the G2 and I walked out with the G2. Just because a phone has a "soft touch" that doesn't make it premium. The G2 is heavier and a whole lot more solid than anything Samsung has ever made and with the matte Zagg shield on the back, it feels better than even the X in my opinion and it looks better because it has a cool metallic color yet it is still soft touch.

Short answer to OP, I did. The G2 had too many issues for me to stick it out. The Note 2 was the only real choice for me and I'm glad I did.

I thought the OP was talking about switching to the note 3?

Just played with an Note 3 today, beautiful device but not for me. The back feels pretty good, the screen is the best Samsung has ever offered. Did some side by side comparisons with my G2 and I am happy with my decision to get the G2. The Note 3 was never really on my radar though, much more interested in how the next Nexus stacks up to the G2.

Got Z1,N3 and the G2. And now after i have use them all for a while, i still go back to the g2. The reason is the screen, battery and smoothness. But all 3 devices are great tho, just matter of taste. :)

Honestly, I cannot understand why LG and others don't get it. It is ALL about Removable batteries, SD cards, High-Res-Cams and Screen Size.
Why do they all let Samsung walkout the door with all of our business. I was willing to fork over the money, but it would have been nice if there had actually been some competition.
I'm totally an Android person.

Note 3 really doesnt feel big. I picked one up, I like it a lot. I had the Note 1 when it came out, and that seemed to be 10x the size as the 3. The 2 was closer, but still felt very big. This doesn.t I was surprised I could easily use it with one hand, and Im a pretty short guy. You also have the option to minimize the entire screen while having full access to everything if needed

I switched to the note 3 and so far not looking back. If there wasn't the screen issue I'd probably have the g2 yet.

I was thinking of seeing if a larger screened phone than my HTC One would work for me: I tried my friend's Note 3 at work, and yesterday (which was a couple days later) I went out and got an LG G2, so, nope, I would not trade! :)

I can still use the G2 one-handed with a bit of a reach if I need to, and the Note 3 is on the other side of that dividing line so too big for me. I also find the G2's screen a bit more pleasing. I've never found TouchWiz appealing when I used it, and while LG's UI is busy in places, after a bit of work I was able to wrangle it into something I actually like.

Note 3 has one handed operation and shrink screen down when needed so you can use it one handed with no stretch.
