Wow

I didn't take this article or the reviewer seriously when he said that Android doesn't run well on the P4. Literally a sensationalist piece meant to drive traffic.

Yeah, honestly though I didn't think of it like that Good point. They just want to see the foot traffic.

Funny enough it's actually true. I have noticed small stutters nothing that hurts the experience but not as smooth as my OnePlus 6t

"Small stutters" != "Android doesn't run well on the phone".

Funny, there's been a confirmed case of measles here in Texas. Which means we have a full outbreak and need to declare a state of emergency.

3 days to 2020 + flagship phone + pure Android SHOULD = the SMOOTHEST Android experience and ZERO stutters. Google should be ashamed that OnePlus can tune Android better than the Android makers themselves. And yes, my OnePlus 6T has ZERO lag.

Haven't noticed any stuttering on my pixel 4xl I keep it at 90hz all the time maybe a app you were in caused it ?

You don't have a 4, so how do you know that it doesn't provide the smoothest experience?

There are many people here who actually have first hand experience that would argue it does.

I haven't use a 1+ phone but have used every pixel and many other Android phones and can honestly say the P4 has been the best Android experience of them all. I don't have any glitches at all and I use mine heavily throughout the day.

I mean come on this thing has a SD855 chip 6gb ram 90hz screen and google optimized the software for their own phone .

I optimized Windows 10 Professional for my Pixel 4 - no stuttering at all - Office 365 is a little slow though.

I have pixel 3 xl and OnePlus 6T. I DO have 1st hand experience and I can tell you 6T is a hell of a lot smoother phone.

IDK if you know this, but the 3 and the 4 are different phones....
IDK if you know, but everyone that used ANY OnePlus phone with Oxygen OS will tell you the software experience is much more buttery smooth when compared to Pixel phones. Seems like you have been living under a rock for the last few years. It doesn't matter if it's pixel 4 or 3.

Enjoy your pixel. I am not bashing the phone. I actually like pixel phones, but facts are facts. OnePlus phones are smoother.

I feel like with any and every new smartphone release, there will be those who praise it and those who hate it. Bias of platform; bias of the previous generation of the product line; price; new features; even time of release; all play a role.

For example, I considered the Pixel 4 but since its new - and only - security feature was Face Unlock (besides PIN), I opted out. It's still a gorgeous phone with a fantastic camera - it's just not for me.

Yes yes exactly. Every smartphone will get praised or ridiculed for whatever feature it has or doesn't have. It's up to the user to decide if they like it or not. That's the bottom line.
