Wow

IDK if you know, but everyone that used ANY OnePlus phone with Oxygen OS will tell you the software experience is much more buttery smooth when compared to Pixel phones. Seems like you have been living under a rock for the last few years. It doesn't matter if it's pixel 4 or 3.

Enjoy your pixel. I am not bashing the phone. I actually like pixel phones, but facts are facts. OnePlus phones are smoother.
I have the pixel 3, 3 XL, 3A(wife, son and daughter), 4(wife and I, both) and OnePlus 6t(mine) and 7 pro(was mine). There isn't a dramatic difference between these phones. I do prefer the Google experience over OnePlus just because I don't have issues with notifications or integrations.

I did notice a stutter in my 4 but once I removed the offending app it is no different than my phones with oxygen OS. I don't think there's any bragging rights here for either side.

If only one plus one would work on their camera application. but at the end of the day they're very similar but I still prefer the stock Google Pixel experience.

Aside from the point that you don't know the difference between a fact and an opinion, someone has already disproven your hyperbole that "everyone who has used ANY OnePlus phone" agrees with you.

I've never used a OnePlus device. Just as you have never used a Pixel 4. Yet you don't see me running around the OnePlus forum claiming things about the phones that I have no idea about. It's really not that hard to do, try it.

Hahaha, you must have missed the part where I said I am not bashing Pixel 4 and actually think it is a good phone. All I am saying is that OnePlus with their Oxygen OS has beat Google at it's own game when it comes to fast and smooth. Again, enjoy your pixel 4, it's a good phone.

That's what happens when you over price something lol. The price will drop $300 soon just like the 3's did ;-) Apple bent a knee and dropped their prices for the first time ever, because WE dictate what we'll pay, not the corporations :-P

They dropped the price on the 11, relative to the previous XR. I mean they still have the Pro and Pro Max at the high-end.

Yeah very good point. A lot of reviewers get bad units from Google And they don't bother to get a replacement unfortunately. it's unfortunate that we have to take all these reviews with a grain of salt. Because what's the point of reading a review if they're all going to be annoying to read.

I mean this guy had issues with his and wrote about it. Didn't Martonik from this very site have constant issues with his 3 XL?

Whatever gets the most clicks lol

I'll say again after owning every Pixel, Pixel 4 XL is the best Pixel to date and has the best everyday experience compared to all the other older pixels. Obviously being the lastest Pixel it better be the best and to me it doesn't disappoint.

By this, are you implying that the author is making it all up?

He actually didn't say that. This is what he said "Premium phones carry an expectation of 10 to 13 hours of battery life (measuring always-on display, normal screen-on time and general use) with very little worry that you won’t make it through a full day of heavy use."

He never said anything about 10-13 hours screen on time.

Thank you.

Just dumb reviewer trying to gain traffic/views. He said it's buggy and the battery sucks on the 4XL, but I get 6-7 hours of SOT and I'm not sure why he's talking about the pixel 4 xl being buggy lol how's so??? My experience so far has been bug free. Literally sounds like he's just trying to get views.

He literally spelled out why his experience was buggy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe so. Then he should've gotten a replacement unit from Google. Make the experience better for you.

Gee, I've been reading about how people are bashing the 4. I hope I didn't make a mistake by ordering one - but I did get it $300 off!

Honestly, you make no mistake buying the pixel 4. Haters going to hate. I think it looks good for all the technology including the soli radar chip that it has inside of the front bezel. The facial recognition will improve with time and software updates so that's not a problem. And I think it's a very good looking phone overall. Very Google pixely. people said the same thing about the Pixel 3 XL with the notch! I don't mind the notch I've gotten used to it and it serves a function so power to Google. We all know that Pixel phones are not the most beautiful looking smart phones on the market anyways. It's all about the user software experience at the end of the day.

I agree with you! I like a good balance between software and hardware but at the end of the day, specs and software win it for me and I'll get used to whatever the phone looks like. Plus, I think the Pixel 4 is a nice-looking device!

Well thank you very much for your support. I agree. I think the pixels were always nice looking phones. It's a great software user experience! That's what it comes down to!

That is true but the review he published said that everyone who was gifted a Pixel 4 should return it. If I remember correctly, Martonik made it clear that this was his own personal experience. Martonik also wrote (more than once) on the positives of the P3XL. He never indicted the entire P3XL product line.

Absolutely! I even liked the look of the original Pixel, even though some didn't like the thick bezels. And it's definitely a great software experience!
