Write on screen notes?

I remember in the past if I removed the S pen and started writing on the screen, it would immediately take a note. I can't figure out how to turn on this feature. Is it because I uninstalled Samsung Notes perhaps (I use Google Keep)?

This is a feature of Samsung Notes.

In my case, to use the Screen Off Memo feature, the 'write here' screen pops up when I pull out the s-pen while the phone screen is black.

I don't recall any setting to turn it on. The screen just needs to be off & Samsung Notes installed.

Unless you're asking about some other feature....

Thanks, I didn't remember turning it on.

But now, I'll copy this into 'Samsung Notes' & it will be there for when I set up my next Samsung!

right, no wonder I couldn't find that settings because I uninstalled Samsung Notes. Thanks
