Anybody know why the temperature reading is always (75% of the time) wrong on Android Auto? Today it was 90 degrees outside, my phone shows 90, but once I plug into my phone and AA opens it reads 66....i can drive 5-10 miles and it will fluctuate. 1 min it reads 65, then next min its 78.

I dont get it.

Does your car have its own thermometer? My car has an inbuilt thermometer that doesn't use any settings from my phone. Could your car's inbuilt thermometer be reading the wrong temperature?

Yes it does....but the car shows the correct temperature. Only Android Auto shows it wrong....even my phone shows it correctly.

AA should display what ever Google Weather tells it to be based on your current vehicle location.

You're not connecting to a VPN while you're in your car, are you?

What is a VPN?

Virtual Private Network -- a way to add more security to your network connection. But sometimes the phone will think it's in a different location, based on the server that the VPN is using.

Nope I'm just on Verizon....plugged into Android Auto

Does the location change when the temperature changes in the display?
