Xiaomi A2 App jumping issue

Hi guys
When I hit the home screen and say navigate between screens, suddenly an app will be launched even without tapping on it
Anyone have a clue ?

Sorry, can you clarify -- are you saying that when you try to swipe between homescreens, you end up launching an app? If so, is that app shortcut anywhere on the screen you're swiping at all?

I'm pretty sure I'm not accidentally launching another app. The app usually a recently opened one just pops up.

Do you have any of the gesture control options turned on?

Also, does it happen in Safe Mode as well?

Don't think I have any gesture controls on. Haven't tried safe mode yet. Will do. Thanks for the tip.
