Xoom/ICS/Sd Card

After the ICS update Google Music stopped reading my songs on the SD card and stopped saving pics and downloads on the gallery. I did a factory reset and that still hasn't fixed my problems just made me more frustrated. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've even tried looking thru the market for a new music player that reads SD cards and haven't found one. The SD card is mounted because I am able to see a list of all my songs. Any help is truly appreciated.

Are you using Google music or the stock music player?

Google music has stock icon set as headphones.
