xoom w/ 3.2 doesn't see my micro sd card

Got 3.2 this afternoon. After the update I turned tablet off and inserted a 16 gb micro SD card that was in my old Droid and turned the Xoom
back on. I have looked for the sdext folder with both androzip and file manager HD and cannot see the external SD card. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this problem?

I haven't put an SD card in mine yet so I don't know for sure, but you may need to format it.

The location of the external SD card is: "mnt/external1" (not sdcard)...

Thanks found it. Odd thing is I can't open up any of the pictures on it.
