So, because Moto is not creating damn circus of BS prior to the launch of their product (meaning they are not Apple), there is some major lack of marketing skills and all these supposed issues?
You guys do realize that the only people that are wound up like this about the product, which hasn't released yet, are geeks like us on these sites that track every stupid rumor or tech glitch and then expect a response explaining it.
95% (likely far more than that) of the public just knows that Moto has some new tablet thing like the iPad coming out and it looked pretty cool in the Superbowl ad. They will then see the Sunday Best Buy ad in the paper that says to go check it out on the 24th, and will then see TV ads most likely starting that same day or through the coming week - and go buy what is out there if they want it.
They don't know or care about all the crap you guys are whining about, and will either buy it because it is cool and they have the money, or will not buy it because it isn't an iPad or they dont have the cash.
How you guys honestly think any of this other **** has any influence on the general public's perception of the Xoom is beyond me. They are not like us, and will not know crap about the Xoom until Motorola and Verizon actually start marketing and selling it.
