Xperia Z Ultra or Nexus 6?

I'm replacing my phone (GS4 Active) this summer and I really want a bigger phone. I haven't necessarily narrowed it down to these two phones, but they are the biggest contenders for me. ANY advice you could give me or any other phones you've had that you'd also recommend would be great.

I want the audio speakers to be loud enough to where I can hear it in the shower or when I watch Netflix, things like that. It would be a bonus if the phone speaker are on the sides or towards the front.
I also want the camera to be good in daylight and night, but mostly in daylight when I use it the most. Camera flash isn't a must but I won't mind if the phone comes with it.

The battery life should be pretty excellent. I use data quite a bit, which does kill battery faster, but I want it to last through my day.

Finally, I want the specs to last me through the time I use it. I plan to use the phone at least 1 year or so.

The speakers requirement beats me I'm afraid, but other members may have suggestions.

I did in fact refer your thread to others behind the scenes when you replied, but I guess they could think of nothing either.

Ok well, not including all my requirements, could you recommend any good phones?

One requirement, not including my other requirements, is my price range. I'd prefer nothing over $550.
