XYBoard searches for IP address but no connect

My Motorola 10.1 XYBoard picks up secure internet just fine at my house, no connection issues at all. When I'm at my flying club it will not connect to the internet. It see's internet available and searches for an IP address but will not connect. What can I do to remedy this?
