yahoo and hotmail stop syncing

Quite often, I stop receiving email (ie, no sync). So then I open up the email app and sync, and there's the new email from 3-4 hours ago ... and it starts syncing again.

Anyone else see this?

This is poll method right? Do they support "push", is that what they call it?

(Tin foil ... does it do this on purpose to force people to use Gmail?)

I am encountering the same issue with my Yahoo email as well. I am also not able to access my custom folders as i was on my Pre.Any tips or suggestions on how to remedy this would be appreciated.

switch to Gmail. it's 2010.

This is caused by unchecking "enable always-on mobile data" ... the people who say that they don't notice anything different aren't noticing hard enough ...
