Yahoo app downloads

[Android Central Question]

On my s8 my yahoo attachments downloaded to my download folder. On my s9 i cannot seem to find how to change the default place things like mp3s download to. If i download an mp3 from an email it doesnt even show up on my stock music player anywhere unless i go and MOVE the specific mp3 to a different folder. A big hassle. Any work arounds?

Welcome to Android Central! If the files are still downloading to the /Download directory, use your My Files app to look in that directory for a file called ".nomedia" -- if you see it, delete it. A .nomedia file instructs the system to ignore photos files in that directory when scanning for new images to add to the Gallery database.
