Yahoo mail not working

I downloaded the yahoo mail app and it will only refresh if I have the app open. No notifications or anyyhing unless it's open. I have triple checked all settings and I have reinstalled it three times. Any ideas?

Do you have power saver settings turned on or Snapdragon Battery Guru installed? If the former, turn that off. If you have Battery Guru installed, it will enable itself for the Yahoo Mail app, so go into the settings for the BG and make sure Yahoo Mail is setup to update "when it wants".

Power saver is off. Gmail and Outlok work fine. I just got the phone a couple of days ago and I havent added any apps other than basic mail and games. No system management apps of any kind.

Odd but it seems to be working. At least it did once. I dont know.
