yahoo mail problems

Hello. I have an unrooted evo. Last night I got some email, one I went to delete and it force closed.I couldnt open it either. I read somewhere to just delete the account and re set it up but now it just says cannot authenticate account. I searched the forum for more answers but couldn't find any. This is very aggravating. Please help.

Make sure your Protocol is set to IMAP, with SSL and Server Port 993. It should fill this data in automatically. Not sure if you installed Gingerbread, but that brought a whole host of problems with Yahoo mail in many cases.
