yahoo mail problems

I can delete emails and when I sync my account to check for new email, all of the deleted ones reappear in my inbox.

Sounds like you have a POP3 account with Yahoo. Default behavior with POP3 is for email deleted locally (on your phone or computer) to be deleted on the server. Some email clients have an option to change that to leave email on the server. Check to see if you have that option and if so, how it is set.

If you do not have that option, then your email client and the email server are not communicating properly. The client should know what email has already been downloaded and what has not so that only new email is fetched. In your case, this client-server communication is broken, so deleted email is downloaded more than once. All you can do is:

1. Change to IMAP service. This is by far the best solution, with many added benefits besides correcting your current problem.
2. Try another email client.
3. Contact Yahoo tech support and see if they can help. Lotsa luck with that one.

I end up just using the Yahoo mail app instead of the standard samsung email app. All good now. Sorry for the late reply, been busy adjusting from my a3 to the a6 active. Love this phone
