youtube app always stops responding

Ever since I got my S6 a couple times a day I'll get the following pop up message "Unfortunately, YouTube stopped responding" then I am forced to click OK.

This happens without me even using the app. In fact I think it only happens when I'm not using the app. Is this a know issue with the app and the S6? I'm on AT&T carrier and would really love to fix this annoying issue. Thank you.

First, try clearing app storage cache. Then, clear the cache partition.

Mine does this all of the time too, and yes I have cleared the cache on both the app and the whole phone.

Try going to applications, all, and then YouTube and clear data for it. Mine did this constantly also until I did this. Hasn't done it in over a week.

Try clintw22 suggestion. Did you make sure you have the most current version?

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling it?

I have the latest update and already tried unijstalking the updates and reinstalling still the same. I'm going to try to clear the cache from the app itself via app manager.
