Youtube issue?

It's ok, I was hoping that it was something simple. I guess not. Should I have done anything else after ticking that toggle in developer options? Like clear cache/data again or reboot phone? Actually, I did reboot.

I too am having issues with my YouTube & Google+ accounts/URLS & have NO way to fix them via phone support.

Short version, I had my Google+ custom URL linked with my custom YouTube channel URL...THEN, Lollipop happened.

I've contacted Google &the PlayStore, but just like for Yahoo, they have NO phone number to reach them. YouTube also, doesn't even have an email address that can help me, unless you are a "PAID" customer. It's sad.

Soooo, I just figured out what was causing my issue. I had started watching a video quite awhile ago and paused it and never went back to it. So apparently you can't do that on more than one video. Once you start one, finish it and then start another one. At least that's what I think is going on.

Hmm. That shouldn't be the case either. Just looking back at recent videos I've watched on YouTube, if I select any of them (which say "Watched" on the thumbnail), it starts where I last left off.

But you finished them all, right? Or are all of them paused at various points in each video?

No, none of them have been watched to the very end. (I usually stop an MST3K episode before the credits roll, so there's still about 3 minutes left in the video.)

Argh. This probably won't be helpful, but check out the official YouTube Help Forum, and post a new thread there.

I know we're only two people that use that feature, but I'd like to not have to watch videos all at one time. I mean, it's not that I don't want to, but I just don't always have the time to. This is sort of upsetting, but I'm sure I'll get over it.

The issue that Ive been having is that once I update my YouTube app to the latest edition... I cant watch anything anymore. I cant even open the app, but once I restore it to the original version of it, works just fine. Anyone else had that sort of an issue? Its not a big deal, I can still use it, but I like to have all of my stuff up to date and in order (guess thats part of me being little but OCD ) Thx
