YouTube Performance Issues

For some reason YouTube will sometimes pause every 5-7 seconds despite appearing to have sufficient video buffered. I thought it was a wifi issue but I am right next to the router getting 15 Mbps and WiFi Analyzer says my signal is strong.

Then, as I was typing this on my Prime, I got an all white screen and then the tablet reset when I pressed the power button. When it rebooted that same YouTube video played fine with no pauses. So it appears to me to be a ram usage issue in the Prime.

Anyone else seeing YouTube issues?

Short answer, lots of people. The YT app leaves a little to be desired for some people. It seems that the problems may stem from some other difficult to ID apps. I would suggest a hard reset, you can hardly do too many, It clears our a lot of the cache from various apps and seems to help with a lit of different problem. No data loss will result using this.

Disconnect power
turn your TF off
while holding volume in the down position also hold the power button until you see some white text upper left, then release both buttons and wait. You will see 2 icons and the one on the right should be flashing, wait more and it will restart.
