When I open the YouTube app my Wifi gets turned off and in about 5 seconds gets turned on again. In-between that time YouTube shows "no connection" and I have to hit the re-try button. After the 5 seconds it works normal again.

This doesn't happen every single time but maybe every 4th time I open up the app.

Wondering if anyone else has had similar issues??

*YouTube app is up to date*

Not sure if it's WiFi or not but just about every time I have to hit retry.

I believe the problem relates to the YouTube app. I say this because on my tablet, I kept going over my data limit and couldn't figure out why. After researching and paying close attention to what my device was doing I realized that even when connected to a strong wireless signal starting the YouTube app would kick you off of WiFi. Then, my mobile data would pick up in the background without notifying me. Verizon was kind enough to credit me for data overages twice based on this issue. the best thing you can do if you can remember, is to shut off your mobile data before you watch youtube videos. I know that's not a real fix, but I can say that the issue is not related to your phone, and no, you're not imagining things.
