YouTube streaming chromecast

I was wondering if I go to the YouTube app and play a video using chromecast can I still be able to watch other videos while its casting to the TV?

No. Usually the casting function takes over the app. Also, if you have a you tube red subscription it will tell you that ur acct is being used elsewhere and boot you out.

Yes you can. Once the video starts playing on TV.. Disconnect your wifi... Then swipe away the casting notification. The video will continue playing on TV. Kill the YouTube app. Then open it again. You'll now be able to pick another video on YouTube while the original casting video will
