YouTube suddenly wants Flash Player update?

Since receiving my N7 I've used the full-site YouTube page on Chrome as I don't really like the app's lack of functions. But yesterday a red banner shows up on YT saying I now need A Flash Player update from Adobe.

This is weird to see all of the sudden. I've installed the 11.1 flash with Firefox Beta and YT works there but its very slow and kind of buggy compared to how Chrome was for me until this banner popped up.

Is there a fix for this or was I just lucky or imagining that it worked before (I swear it did, for reals). If this is just how it is, then I plead ComputerDumb.

Can't view flash on chrome. Chrome doesn't support it even if u have flash downloaded. I dunno if u are into rooting but, I rooted and use the regular browser with flash
