Hello this is my first post here! I recently got a DROID Bionic after my old phone got stolen, so I'm still trying to figure out this phone. I'm running Android 4.1.2.
So the problem I have is that for the messages in the Facebook app, most of the time when I get a youtube video sent to me, I can't play it in the youtube app or the browser. The two options I do get are "Photos" and "Video Player," neither of which work (video player gives me a "sorry, this video cannot be played" error). Videos posted on my wall play just fine in the youtube app (I have Facebook Links installed) but most things in the messages don't work. The ones that do work are the ones I send and the ones that are in the youtu.be link shortening format. Anything else shows up with a thumbnail and with a "person has shared a video" along with a little video description preview and do NOT work.
I've read many other threads on here about this same issue but none have found a solution and have not been posted in for a while. Thanks for reading!
