Yeah. I know what you mean. I'd love to be able to listen to audiobooks from youtube with my phone in my pocket without having to keep the screen on and mabey touch the screen by mistake and pause the video or anything like this..

Old thread, newish (I think) app:

BLACKR in the Play store: turns off OLED screen and lets the underlying app (such as YouTube) keep playing. In a full minute of testing it hasn't failed me yet.
