Z Flip 3 owners - input on fingerprints

I watched a video review and the reviewer mentioned that the Flip3 has a definite problem with fingerprints. That is one thing that drives me insane, I hate fingerprints on my phone. I don't want to go on just one review and I'd rather have reviews from people here. Anyone had their phone long enough to provide your fingerprint experience? Thank you.

It works for me every single time. Just got to get used to the placement. Edit: never mind I thought you were talking about the fingerprint sensor. Just put a skin/case on if you are worried about fingerprints getting on the back.

I think it has more than a normal phone without any screen protectors (I don't use on any phone). But since the Flip has the in built screen protectors it does collect more than normal. But a quick wipe takes care of it even if it bothers. For me personally it hasn't bothered over the past couple of days I have had the phone. But that depends on individual preference and you'll have to try it out yourself to see how you feel.

So far, I haven't noticed any more fingerprints on the screen than occured on any other phone that I have had. I just wipe my screen with a microfiber cloth every couple of days. I did read somewhere that the pre-installed screen protector on the Flip 3 is different from the one on the first 2 Flips, largely because of the fingerprint problem that they had and also because it is stronger. I have no print problem on the outside so far!

I've haven't noticed any more fingerprints on the flip than my Note 10+. The flip has a better screen protector on it than the other flips. I was concerned at first too.

I'm thinking the reviewer was talking about the previous Flip phones, which did have an issue with fingerprints and smudging on the screen. The Flip 3 seems to have fixed that, as others state, it doesn't show fingerprints anymore than most glass screened phones.

I decided to drive the 30 miles to the VZW corporate store since none of the local guys had the new Z's for display. I was unhappy cuz they have the phones chained up tight so you can't lift or hold them but at least I could see it, put my hands around it (nice fit!) from the top and check the fingerprint thing for myself and I do not see where it would be a problem. Thanks everyone for your input

I believe that would be a downgrade for you. You will loose battery life, camera quality, SD card, and some screen size as the flip 3 has a thinner screen. I jumped from a Note 10+ to the flip3. I don't regret it as I was ready for a change from the big glass slab to a more pocketable device. I love the Flip3 but you would take a hit with battery. Weigh your pros and cons and go from there.

It depends on how much you like the Note 20. I upgraded from the S20U so right now I have both the note 20U and the Z Fold 3. My Note 20U is starving for attention.
