Z3 screen cracking, how to cheapily Repair without insurance??

I dropped my phone by accident my screen cracked an now I cant operate the phone. Sad thing is I have no insurance. I sent it in for repairs an was quoted 4.5K(SA Rands). Any ideas on how to operate it till I can raise the funds???

Hopefully you fixed it by now. If not, then you'll need to get it replaced in order for it to work. Aside from the cracked screen, it appears to have a broken digitizer, which would explain it not being responsive.
