On my regular cell phone when I dial a long distance number the phone would identify what state I was calling. Example: if I keyed in 760 XXX-XXXX it would tell me I am dialing CA.

I do not see this on the touch. Is there a setting for this? I figured it was a sprint thing so it would happen automatically.

Any ideas?

I think its a database that you have to add. On my Palm Pre, we had a patch that added that function. Not sure if there is one for Android yet but a quick search didnt return much for me.
