ZTE Axon 7 Preorders Have Begun

I was talking about this with someone earlier today. I might wait until the 8/3 to preorder depending on what the Note 7 is. If it sucks, get this, if not, get that. Or something.

I can tell you what the Note 7 is. $800 TouchWiz. Versus $400 Axon 7. There, did I make your decision easier?

The only thing I don't like about the axon 7 is the software, it would be nice if they had stock Android

Reluctantly, I decided to cancel my preorder due to the poor camera performance. I got burned buying the HTC M9 with the promise that updates would fix the camera. Updates cannot fix a poorly designed camera module. I'll wait for final reviews from reputable sources and if I'm proven wrong, I might change my mind.

Honestly, good call.

Improvements? Maybe. Getting to the level of Samsung or Apple, not a chance. So if camera performance is a must for you, go with S7 or S7 Edge. But if audio is important, this one is a winner.

The camera and video isn't horrible. But it isn't up to par to samsung or iPhone.
But what do u expect from a phone with almost half the cost.
As long the audio is good and it has the specs of high end phone, handles well, isn't laggy and doesn't go crap on me with in the yr or 2 I'll be good

Personally I find the camera quality to be good enough, particularly when I look at the audio quality, which is much more important to me.

The One M8 is my favorite phone that I have ever owned, and the Axon 7 looks to be the successor that I always hoped for and never got from HTC.

The iPhone to Samsung range is pretty huge. Getting to iPhone range should be easy but Samsung is tough to catch up to. HTC did it this year though, so there's hope.

I'm pretty sure I'll get the axon 7. I'm going to wait another month or so.

2bad for Germany there is no information about the Grey version. I would pre-order but I don't see me with gold

I pre ordered the gray model on Newegg.ca it was $530 CDN plus tax, said there was free Monster head phones as a gift that show a price of 99.99 CDN so might be able to sell for $50. Nice that it will come with a case and screen protector as well as 2yr warranty that's all worth extra too. Also nice that they had a separate Canadian pre order option.

Only thing that would make me cancel is the Note 7 and what that will look like and price since my work pays my cell bill if I renew my contract to get a phone cheaper I am fine with it so if the 2yr price of the Note7 is comparable it will be a tough call.

At least with gray pre order I have time to wait to see the Note launch.

Sigh, is it worth giving up on fast updates and a slightly bigger battery in my 6P for the Axon 7? I really love those speakers, plus the Axon 7 has an option for capacitive buttons, which I prefer to on screen ones. I feel like I'm being greedy, lol. :/
