Screen flashes black

When I turn the display on, or go to the homescreen, or exit an app, the screen flashes black for a fraction of a second and it's getting pretty annoying, it happens when I use Go Launcher as well. Does this happen to everyone or is it just me?

When I am using the phone dialer...and need to put in an extension (say when entering pin for voicemail). Some times my phone will just keep flashing to black and back...then a minute later, it's fine. I am starting to think I have a defective phone.

I found out it was actually my live wallpaper that makes the screen flash black, none of the other ones do it though.

It's not defective, they all do that. I find it irritating as well.
