Need help going back to stock

This has probably been addressed & I'm sorry for reposting but I'm stressed out & have a headache from trying to find the right thread on here

Fascinate - nonrooted - stock
Running D101 with DL109 modem

Phone is not active - just want to get it back to factory conditions

odin tells me osm all threads completed succeed 0 / failed 0

I have the following
D101 package3.tar.tar
CWM Recovery.tar

Is this what I need??

Are you saying the phone is currently running DI01 build with DL09 baseband (modem)? If so, that is already at factory condition.

When i go back to stock after bricking my phone, I use the DI01package3.tar in ODIN.

Works every time for me.. 466,901 Kbytes..

I just went back an read all your posts. Let me see if I have this correct. You bought a Droid X off craigslist, Used ODIN to bring your Fascinate back to stock factory status of DI01, swapped the ESN from your Fascinate to the DroidX so now the DroidX is active on your account, and the Fascinate has no ESN, you tried to update the Fascinate to ED01 the current stock Froyo build, but got an error message saying the software could not install. And now you are worried because nothing works.

Is all that correct?

bought an x - transferred esn # BEFORE factory resetting the Fascinate - reset the Fascinate & now just the black screen

Did you go over all the trouble shooting tips . Change usb to back ports. Disable antivirus. Drivers installed..battery out of the phone while odin flashes ?

This post by you was after you tried to get the Froyo OTA update and couldn't even get past the check for update screen:

I have a Fascinate running old software, tried to update the new software, downloaded 100%, phone restarted but then said software failed to upload. After 3 hours on the phone with the Verizon tech support said they couldn't help me
So I got a Droid X - factory reset the Fascinate & now all I see is a black screen with "Samsung"
I can't even turn the phone off - have to take battery out

I want to get this back to factory condition so I can sell it

Any help/advice is appreciated

What software did you download and install, then get the failed to upload message after reboot?

I couldnt do an OTA update because I was running the wrong modem one time..hope you get it fixed.
