Verizon Galaxy Nexus - MS Exchange sub folder notification problem

Hi all,

I have verizon galaxy nexus, running 4.2.2.

I have corporate MS exchange 2010 running, which is syncing fine however I cannot set an alert or notification whenever an email is sent to one of my exchange subfolders. I can only get it to run for a inbox message. I have some rules set in outlook which sort email to a subfolder. This has been one of my annoyances I couldn't solve which used to work fine on iphone 4.

Setting notifications for exchange subfolders is easy, just 1) go to the email app, 2) hit the menu button, 3) hit settings, 4) click "account settings" for the account you want, 5) click the name of the account listed, 6) scroll to the bottom and hit "more settings", 7) click "Folder sync settings", 8) click the subfolder you want notifications for, 9) click sync schedule and select "push", 10) click peak schedule and select "push, 11) hit the back button and then repeat steps 8 through 10 for whatever subfolders you want notifications for. That should do it.
