I probably like many others am drooling over the note 2.. despite my pebble glue galaxy s3 in my pocket I cant convince myself to pay full retail to keep unlimited when I know I can bargain for 4gig which is more than enough for me, let alone 299.

Hopefully we can use this forum as a reporting page for when there are deals on the phone.

I saw that the Sprint version is already down to 229.99 on amazon - maybe these are a signs of things to come for Verizon!

Verizon will keep it at $299 for awhile (at least that's what the small print says on their ads). By the time there is a drop, you'll be drooling over the upcoming S4.

Verizon currently has the best full retail price at $750 with tax and Walmart (until Sunday) has the best upgrade price at $225 with tax and after gift card is issued.

I'd love a deal like that as well. Currently you just get 1000 Reward Zone points (maybe you can also incorporate the $25 store credit with $250+ in-store pick up deal).

hhgregg has the verizon version for 279 online. in-store they have it listed at 299.99. I asked why the difference and they price matched it with a extra 10% off. They only had titanium grey as the white one was already sold out. After tax it came out to 260 something.

Verizon, gave me 70 dollars trade in on Galaxy s2 brought my out of pocket cost to 245.00 with tax. I thought that was a pretty sweet deal.
