Extended battery..Yes Charging pad I think depends on what carrier you have.I know you can't with Verizon.

Yes, you can use a charging pad, but you would have to physically hack the phone to expose the contacts

Thanks! Do you know if the extended battery is by samsung? Or does it take a generic? And does it make the back of the device bigger? Need a new back?

Samsung doesn't make an extended battery, so it is third party. Any extended battery that substantially increases battery life would require a new back
