Is there a way to move music to my external sd card?

Sure, from where? Your PC?

Just plug in via USB, two new drives will appear, one called HTC STORAGE is the internal "sdcard" memory, and one with no name which is the external microSD card, just create a directory called Music and copy your MP3 files to those directories.

There are also wireless options with apps like WinAmp, which allow you to synch music wirelessly over your home WiFi to your phone from a PC with WinAmp installed on it.

Sorry I wasn't clear...I don't know how to get the music from my internal phone storage to the sd card.

Oh, well then just like anything else, either do it by PC but copy it from the HTC STORAGE drive to the unnamed drive and put it in a folder called Music. Or to do it from the phone, install a file manager, such as ES File Explorer, and do the same thing, go to the music directory, tag all the file you want to move, select copy, then go to /sdcard/ext_sd/Music directory and select paste.
