Blue tooth streaming deleted all my songs on Verizon LG G2

Sorry if im repeating something alreafy mentioned, but i haven't seen this in any of the threads yet. While driving back home from a weekend trip, i decided to stream my music from the G2. I went to change tracks using the steering wheel controls, and the music stoped. The title of the song was still on the car's lcd display. However, my G2 said there was NO MUSIC on the device, nit even the songs i had recently purchased from amazon mp3 app. Any idea why this has happened or how i can prevent it from happening again?? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Has to be something your car did, I use bluetooth streaming all the time (but just with a speaker) and have not had any kind of problems. Even pause/play and change songs from the speaker.

Update:
Turned my phone on this morning and all of my songs and pictures had returned to the device. Very odd, but im just glad they are back. Thanks for the input.
