Are people still allowed to start a non mobile share plan on Verizon like you can in AT&T. I have looked on Verizon's web site but u can't find any thing.

The data plans are still $30 a month for 2 GB. You'll be able to upgrade at a discounted price like a new customer. A couple of my friends gave up their unlimited data plans to upgrade their phones.

Call back and ask about the family share plan. Not the share everything plan.

It's possible a CS rep can override it, but as a matter of policy VZW doesn't allow new customers to sign up for individual or family tiered data plans anymore, only Share Everything plans.
