Have they confirmed this? It could possibly just be a bad picture / Photoshop on their part.

I wouldn't get too excited yet. Verizon offers a Samsung GS3 (the original was a 4G LTE world phone) that is 3G only. Wouldn't be surprised if the Lucid 3 is similar to the GS3. Verizon is nowhere near ready to offer 4G LTE to prepaid when their postpaid service data quality and reliability is in question and won't be fixed until their full XLTE (1700 MHz AWS) rollout is complete.

There was some discussion here, but it could be misinformation like what best buy had before. There is no mention of this phone on Verizon's prepaid website.

Can you post a link to the Walmart website? I did a quick search but couldn't find that page.

Yeah, the lucid 3 is 4GLTE, but the screen shot you provided doesn't show that it is prepaid. I looked on the prepaid Verizon phones and the lucid 3 isn't listed

Talk to a few of my Verizon friends. There is no LTE on prepaid, nor has it even been mentioned to be coming in the future yet. I am betting this is faked/mistake like the best buy one.

I think it's fine actually. The S3 says prepaid in the title... The other doesn't. I think the OP just figured it was prepaid since Walmart was selling it.

As dpham said he went and chose the filter prepaid and it didn't pop up.

But still, the $45 plan is a steal for someone who doesn't need a large data plan and has access to wi-fi, even the $60/75 plans aren't bad considering it's out the door price

Depends on your needs. Just remember that the $45 price is unsubsidized. The $60 is. Typically, it is a $15-25 price drop between subsidized and unsubsidized.

To the point, prepaid 1gb is $50,same as postpaid 1gb on edge or byod. So why not go postpaid to get 4glte? Now if you don't want 4GLTE and want lower tier phones then sure prepaid can work for you.
