Battery life?

Is it just me or is the battery life in this phone terrible. My friemd gets maybe 8hrs on a good day. Its rooted with the hydro port

Stock battery life is HORRIBLE.

I've been running GingerKernel for the past few months, along with SetCPU on the "SmartassV2" scaler.

I get pretty good battery life.. 2-3 days with normal data use (map lookups and such), maybe 1-1.5 days with Wifi / heavy 3G use.

Check out my CPU frequency history.. it spends more than 1/3 of the time under 100MHz, and only 25% time spent at full 800Mhz.

Highly recommended. I haven't messed with the thing at all since Nov/Dec or so.
