My phone has been completely bricked. Stuck in bootloop, it turns on and flashes the LG logo (only when plugged in) and shuts off, and then flashes the LG logo and keeps doing this. My phone was rooted, running Quattrimus CM9, and had CWM recovery.

Here's the story. I was at a friend's house and i jumped backwards onto a bed, hitting the wooden edge in the process. My phone's screen wasn't cracked, but i think a ribbon cable had come undone or something. Anyway, i sent it in to LG to have it repaired. When i got it back, my phone wouldn't start up unless it was plugged in, but it was stuck in bootloop at the LG screen. I can't get into recovery, I can only get into emergency mode, where it acts like it's downloading something.

What should I do? I found this thread on XDA:
Safely and Easily unbrick your LG Optimus V - xda-developers
but every time i type in "adb reboot bootloader", it says "error: device not found." I've tried at least 50 times.

Thanks in advance.

If you got the phone back from LG like that it is THEIR responsibility to make it work. Especially if you paid them for the repairs.
