Why won't my LG G2 screen stay on besides in direct light?

I did an update on Saturday (9-27-14) on my LG G2 and since then, I have been having issues with the screen. It started with the knock on feature not working. Then, the back power button would turn the screen on only to immediately black out again. After some trial and error, I figured out that it was happening in low light situations. If I put it facing direct light, it has no problem. Is this an update issue or something with the screen/phone?

It seems like an update issue, clear cache and soft reset to see if that works for you. If it doesn't you might want to factory reset, just make sure to back up everything before.
