Google Play questions

Ok. So sometimes an app will have an update. I update it and then later that day or next day it will say there's another update. There were no changes to the change log or version number. Why is this?

And also, how come sometimes I have apps that have updates in my All list instead of in the Installed under Update? Seems weird to me.

I've always suspected that the updates that come soon after are just quick fixes that didn't merit a different version number.

Not sure about the second question, though.
