Why can't my android ipad communicate with google server?

I can't get to play store. Sign in but keep get the message" problem communicating with Google servers". What can I do.

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet? iPad is a registered trademark of Apple, so don't anger their lawyers.

Are you connecting via wi-fi or mobile data (3G/4G)? Have you tried different wi-fi networks?
