How can i hook up my droid mini to my selfie stick?

I tried a bunch of apps for the shutter and i dont have much settings for my camera! Help

Of what I have seen on Selfie Sticks they pair to the phone via BT, but beyond that the camera functions are not going to be the same as they are for the rear lens which is meant to add features for photography. Selfies are really just quick shots and thats all its meant to be for.
